At the top of the dial, a hand-painted three-dimensional moon phase sphere, crafted by skilled artisans, boasts high precision, requiring adjustment only once every 10 years.

The movement incorporates Hermle's newly developed high-efficiency movement. Driven by a lightweight 2.5kg weight, it achieves a long power reserve of one month. This is made possible by a power transmission mechanism that minimizes friction, utilizing six high-precision miniature ball bearings and six ruby jeweled bearings.

The escapement features a Graham escapement with ruby pallets, allowing for precision adjustments in seconds over a month. This is astonishingly accurate for a mechanical movement, meaning the clock's error will be within a few seconds even after one month of operation. Typically, mechanical clocks have a daily deviation of ±30 seconds, leading to several minutes of deviation per month. This highlights the high precision of this product.

Furthermore, being a 31-day movement, winding is only required once a month (although winding can be one of the pleasures of mechanical clocks). With its extremely quiet operation and subtle pendulum swing, it creates a sophisticated atmosphere without distraction, its presence like a work of art.
