About Our Store

The Clock Works is an online store specializing in authentic Hermle clocks.

We are based in Japan and offer selected German-made Hermle clocks to customers in Japan and overseas. Our products include mechanical regulator clocks, table clocks, ship’s clocks, astrolabium models, and other selected timepieces.

The Clock Works is an authorized Hermle dealer in Japan. We offer genuine Hermle products sourced through official channels.

Please note that prices may change without prior notice due to exchange rate fluctuations, manufacturer price revisions, changes in shipping costs, or other business circumstances.

Additional Costs

For international orders, the product price does not include import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, brokerage fees, or any other charges imposed by the destination country or carrier.

These costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

Orders are generally shipped under DAP terms, which means that import duties, taxes, and customs-related fees are paid by the customer upon import.

Shipping and Delivery

After payment confirmation, we will arrange shipment as soon as possible.

Many Hermle clocks are ordered from Germany. If the item is available from the manufacturer, the estimated delivery time is usually around 2 to 3 weeks after order confirmation.

Some special-order or made-to-order items, such as perpetual calendar models or other complex timepieces, may require approximately 2 months or more before shipment.

If an item is out of stock or requires a longer lead time, we will inform the customer by email.

Shipping times are estimates only and may vary depending on manufacturer availability, customs procedures, international shipping conditions, and carrier handling.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

As a general rule, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for reasons of customer convenience.

Returns or exchanges may be accepted only if the item is defective, damaged, or clearly different from the product ordered due to an error on our part.

If you receive a defective item, damaged item, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days after delivery.

Please do not return any item without contacting us first.

Special-order, made-to-order, and manufacturer-ordered items may not be eligible for cancellation or return once the order has been confirmed.

Refunds will be handled in accordance with our refund policy.
