Hermle | High-Precision Pendulum Wall Clock [71013 / Moon Phase / ±10 Seconds Per Month]
Description
The new monthly regulator, with its elegant glossy lacquer case and beveled glass, elevates any space with just its appearance. A three-dimensional moon phase sphere hand-painted by a skilled craftsman is placed at the top of the dial, boasting high precision that requires adjustment of just one day every ten years.
The watch is equipped with a newly developed, highly efficient movement by Hermle. Driven by a lightweight weight of 2.5 kg, it achieves a long power reserve of one month. This is made possible by a power transmission mechanism that minimizes friction with six high-precision miniature ball bearings and six ruby jewels.
The escapement uses a Graham mechanism with a ruby palette, allowing for precision adjustment within a few seconds per month. This is an astonishing level of precision for a mechanical watch, meaning that even if the watch runs for a month, the error will be only a few seconds. Generally, mechanical clocks have a daily error rate of ±30 seconds, meaning that the time will inevitably be off by a few minutes per month. This also speaks to the high level of precision of this product.
In addition, the 31-day winding mechanism means that the mainspring only needs to be wound once a month (although winding the mainspring is one of the joys of mechanical watches). The extremely quiet operation and understated pendulum movement create a presence like an art piece, without interfering with the quality of the space.
